Click to enlargeThe restaurant Lucio "A Casetta" and the guesthouse "Locanda del Mar” are located along the Ligurian Riviera, in the seaside resort of Imperia (near the French border and 18 km from the well- known town of Sanremo). They are easily accessible both travelling by car and air.
By air:
- From the East, you can get to Imperia flying to Genoa “Cristoforo Colombo” airport (100 Km far, approx. a one hour drive)
- From the West, you can get here directly from Nice airport (100 Km, approx. a one hour drive)
- From both airports it takes approximately one hour by car or taxi. You have to take the motorway A10 (Genova-Ventimiglia) and then exit at “Imperia Ovest”
- As an alternative you can get from the airport to the train station (by bus or taxi) and then take a train from there to the train station “Imperia Porto Maurizio”.
By car:
From the motorway A10 (Genova-Ventimiglia) you take the exit “Imperia Ovest”; we are then less than 1 km from the motorway’s exit. You have to turn left towards the city centre (following the indication “centro”) until you reach the main road A1 “Aurelia”. You could then turn right or left and in a few minutes reach “lungomare C. Colombo” or “strada Lamboglia”. From both roads if you go straight you will reach our sign “Locanda del Mar”.
Our guesthouse is ideally located in a Mediterranean setting, from there you can benefit of a typical Ligurian landscape. You have the sea in front of you and at the same time you are a short distance from both the inland hills of olive groves and the lower mountains. In summer this is particularly pleasant because it offers you the possibility of enjoying fresh and relaxing escapes among pristine environments and breathtaking views.
Thanks to the particularly mild climate of the Riviera even during winter season you could spend your days in the sunshine lying on the beach.
